Conference on Tobacco Control 2025 in Dublin!

Just returned from an inspiring experience at the World Conference on Tobacco Control 2025 in Dublin!

It was a true privilege to be part of this global platform, proudly representing Sri Lanka’s ongoing efforts in tobacco control.

I had the honor of presenting on behalf of the Take Turn Foundation, alongside a remarkable group of Sri Lankan colleagues—all of whom showcased powerful, ground-level work happening across the country.

One thing remains clear—the tobacco industry continues to rely on persistent and well-resourced tactics. But our collective resolve is stronger. This conference offered a timely reminder that bold, proactive policies—grounded in evidence and global collaboration—are our best tools to stay ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers, partners, and supporters of the Global Conference on Tobacco Control for bringing together voices from across the world.

The passion and leadership of the next generation of advocates gave me real hope. The tobacco endgame for Sri Lanka is not only possible—it’s within reach. With shared learning and unwavering commitment, we can build a tobacco-free future.
